چکیده
Phellodon is a genus of ectomycorrhizal fungi belonging to the group known as stipitate hydnoids. It associated with coniferous trees in forest ecosystems and widely distributed northern hemisphere. Phellodon, together Hydnellum, Sarcodon, classified Bankeraceae, members which are generally considered symbiotic fungi. Ectomycorrhizal can help plant roots fix nitrogen improve absorption capacity soil nutrients by trees, so they play an important role ecosystem protection. Taxonomic phylogenetic studies Chinese collections were carried out. Four new species discovered from southwestern China based on combination morphological characters molecular data. atroardesiacus characterized blackish blue dark grey pileus, ash spines, presence clamp connections spines. cinereofuscus distinguished cottony tomentose pileal margin, long spines become clay-buff when dry, echinulate basidiospores. stramineus depressed straw buff-colored surface, yunnanensis clay-pink brown pale white outer layer stipe. Detailed descriptions, illustrations, ecological traits for taxa provided. Phylogenetic analyses inferred internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions confirmed that four distinct within Phellodon.

In this study, the phylogeny and morphological variation of 6 species of the genus Cousinia sect. Stenocephalae, i.e., C. hypopolia, C. decipiens, C. esfandiarii, C. renominata, C. stahliana and C. daryoushiana, distributed in NE regions of Iran, were investigated. ITS, ETS and rpl32-trnL (UAG) sequences for 12 species (17 specimens) were generated. Phylogenetic interspecies relationships were ...
متن کاملTaxonomy of the Colocasiomyia gigantea species group (Diptera, Drosophilidae), with descriptions of four new species from Yunnan, China
Species of the genus Colocasiomyia de Meijere feed/breed on inflorescences/infructescences of the plants from the families Araceae, Arecaceae and Magnoliaceae. Although most of them utilize plants from the subfamily Aroideae of Araceae, three species of the recently established C. gigantea species group make use of plants of the subfamily Monsteroideae. We describe four new species of the gigan...
متن کاملMolecular phylogeny and morphology of four Ramularia species from Iran along with a checklist of ramularia-like taxa
The genus Ramularia includes important plant pathogens with worldwide distribution, commonly associated with leaf spot diseases on a broad range of plant hosts. Although these fungi are common in Iran, most of the species found to date have been identified on the basis of morphological characteristics, and DNA data are available for limited number of them. During our investigation of fungi asso...
